    St. Peter’s Basilica - Things to Remember

    • During Papal Audience, access may be affected. Worry not as none of your tour durations gets affected! Our guides will segregate entire duration between other attractions of the itinerary perfectly to ensure you have the best experience!

    • The tour does not cover the Basilica on Wednesdays.

    • Since it is a religious place, the Basilica might be closed without prior notice due to religious events - on such occasions, it will be substituted with a visit to the Vatican Library.

    Security Measures:

    • There will be airport-style security checks. All visitors and their small-medium sized bags will be screened. Liquids, large bags, or sharp items are not allowed and must be left in the cloakroom.

    • Please carry your valid ID/passport. Failure to do may result in denied entry. If you wear a pacemakers, please remember to carry the certification.

    Wheelchair Accessibility: Those with a disability and their attendant / companion go free with a disability certificate that you must present at the Vatican Museum's Special Permit or Reception Desk.

    Dress Code: Both men and women MUST have knees and shoulders covered. No sleeveless blouses, no miniskirts, no shorts, and no hats are allowed. Failure to comply may result in denied entry.
