Available with an advance booking, experience the sensational aura of the seat of papal administration in a more intimate setting. The tour gives you a chance to admire the upper galleries of the Vatican Museums including the Gallery of the Tapestries and Candelabra, as well as the Hall of the Maps, the Octagonal Court, and Raphael’s Rooms. Feast your eyes on some of the finest pieces of Renaissance art in existence – Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel ceiling and his ‘Last Judgment’, as well as Raphael’s glorious frescoes.

The Vatican houses one of the best collections of art in the world, ranging from Roman, Etruscan and Egyptian antiquities to late Renaissance. From the exquisite classical statues like the famous Laocoon to the gorgeous Flemish tapestries, the tour is a visual treat like no other. Making it a synesthetic experience will be our expert guide’s enchanting commentary, sharing intriguing anecdotes about the Vatican’s notorious history - to the murky world of politics surrounding the most important Catholic site of pilgrimage to inimitable heritage of the Roman civilisation.
