SKIP-THE-LINE COLOSSEUM TICKET
Inarguably the most majestic structure of the Roman Empire, the Colosseum (originally known as the Flavian Amphitheatre) is inhabited by myriad tales of bravery, public life and royalty in ancient Rome. Despite the pillage of natural disasters, fires, pollution and wars, it is a living proof of the stunning architecture and strong masonry of ancient world, and has served as a model for stadiums around the world.
In the Colosseum, you can go up Michelangelo’s staircase to reach the Campidoglio – the beautiful piazza outside the Capitoline Museums. Michelangelo came up with the design for the piazza when Pope Paul III Farnese asked him to design a new square in honour of Emperor Charles V, who was visiting Rome in 1536. The curved surface of the piazza resembles the face of an egg. Or, you can visit the arena floor where you will be amazed to see the magnitude of the Flavian Amphitheatre.

We bought the 48 hours ticket with a skip the line ticket at the Colosseum. It was so convenient. Knowing where the stops are, we were able to plot our itinerary for the day. But...
Marie Alo, Canada, 19/May/2018...
ALberto J, United States, 16/May/2018Great way to see Rome , we got great value out of the two day ticket hopping on and off when we wanted and didn't have to wait for tour bus they are so ferquent. No queuing...
Michelle Dennis, Ireland, 16/May/2018No line. It was really great!
The buses were nice, always in time. But on the top floor there were no windows and on a rainy day it was impossible to sit there, everything was wet. So we had to wait for the next bus under the rain another 30 min. The queues to Coloseum, Foro Romano and Palantine Hill were huge. Even though you already have a ticket from the bus to those attractions you have to change it for the different "original" one in the ticket office and wait in the same line with people who want to buy the ticket. That makes no sense to me as the company promotes "skip the line" ads. At least they could make a separate line for those with a ticket. You'll have to wait in a line to change the ticket + 1 line to enter every attraction.
Wasn’t really happy with the service
