St. Peter’s Basilica is a religious place and might be closed without prior notice due to religious events. However, on such occasions it will be substituted by a visit to the Vatican Library.
Due to heightened security measures, you may experience delays in clearing security checks when entering the Colosseum.
Since we would visit a place of worship, wearing shirts with sleeves and avoiding shorts, vest tops and open toe sandals would be best.
