    The tour starts at Campidoglio - Under the Bronze Statue of Marcus Aurelius.
    Please report at the meeting point 15 minutes before the start time. This is mandatory to allow time for pre-departure briefing.

    The tour starts at Campidoglio - Under the Bronze Statue of Marcus Aurelius. Since there is no hotel pick-up, you have to make your own arrangements to reach this place.

    You'll learn to use perspective to your advantage and play with light and shadow. You'll also get tips on how to use colour, contrast, and detail to create captivating images. Snap colourful piazzas bathed in the warm radiance of the afternoon light.

    En route you will Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Temple Adriano, Trevi Fountain, and ending at the Spanish steps in the Piazza at the foot to the stairs, Piazza di Spagna took its name from the Spanish ambassador to the Holy See who took up residence there. Some of the techniquies you will learn are:

    • Composition.
    • Importance of light, colour and depth of field in the make up of a photograph.
    • Looking for detail and isolating it to make captivating images.
    • Architectural details and urban scenes.
    • Street photography, and looking for subjects and shots from among the crowded streets and squares.
    • “Hunting” for interesting subjects by anticipating composition and action that is about to happen.

    At the end of the session your photographer-guide will review some of the photos taken. You will have learnt the basics of composition, the importance of light in photography, how to take balanced and attractive images, and simple techniques to take "creative" images.

    The tour ends at the Pincio.
