The Rome Pass is valid on all means of local public transport operated by ATAC (bus, metro A, B, B1 and C and railway lines Roma-Lido, Roma Flaminio Piazza del Popolo-Viterbo, Roma-Giardinetti), within Rome.

Soon after booking you will be emailed a receipt for your purchase, this document will be a booking confirmation. We will follow this up with Isango voucher within 48 hours of your booking which would have Your Roma pass collection Code. This confirmation code and a valid identity document are required to collect your cards. You can redeem your voucher for the Pass at any Tourist Information Points (PIT).
The card is valid for 72 hours from the first validation and is activated at the time of the first entry to the museums/sites, and/or at the first journey on public transport.
Direct access for the first 2 sites. From the 3rd site onwards please apply to the ticket office for concession. It must be produced along with your identity papers when required by the staff in charge.
It is a contactless card, which means no need to insert it in the reader, just touch your card against the reader.
At the Colosseum, Castel Sant’Angelo and Musei Capitolini Roma Pass 72 Hours holders have direct access to the security check point, without waiting in the ticket window line. Please note that due to public order reasons, controls have been intensified and therefore there might be delays due to public security operations.
For info on facilities/free admission for specific age groups or categories of visitors in the Museums and Archaeological Sites managed by the State and the City of Rome, please refer to the laws regulating the admission in cultural sites.
Please note that most museums generally are closed on Mondays (with the exception of Colosseo, Mercati di Traiano, Musei Capitolini, Museo dell’Ara Pacis and Terme di Caracalla). Almost all the museums normally are closed on December 25, January 1 and May 1 too. We advise you to check in advance the opening hours and days.
The following museums are admission free, without card too: Accademia Nazionale di San Luca, Museo Carlo Bilotti a Villa Borghese, Museo della Repubblica Romana e della memoria garibaldina, Museo delle Mura, Museo di Casal de’ Pazzi, Museo di Scultura Antica Giovanni Barracco, Museo Napoleonico, Museo Pietro Canonica a Villa Borghese, Museo Carlo Bilotti a Villa Borghese, Museo Pietro Canonica a Villa Borghese, Villa di Massenzio.
Voucher Information: Sorry, but we will need you to print a paper version of your booking voucher (we're working on changing this ). At this time no refund can be given for customers without a printed copy of their voucher. The service of transport, included in the Roma Pass, is now empowered by two new lines that take you from Ciampino Airport to Rome City,-
• NEW Atac line n.720 from/to Ciampino airport to/from Laurentina metro station
• NEW Atac line n.520 from/to Ciampino airport to/from Metro A stations of Subaugusta and Cinecittà
Also Roma Pass 72/48 hours holders can reach the City directly from the airport without any additional ticket.
Entry to Colosseum is FREE on every first Sunday of every month.
