Your tour will depart from Via di Sant’Eufemia #15. Accompanied by an English-speaking guide you will be taken on a sightseeing tour of Rome on a Segway.

You will see the following sights:
• Arch of Constantine
• Roman Forum
• Colosseum
• Traian column
• Palatino Hills
• Santa Maria’s Church and its Bocca della Verità wall sculpture.

The tour takes the following route:
• Via dei Cerchi
• Via di S. Gregorio
• Via dei Fori Imperiali
• Via S. Pietro in carcere
• Piazza del Campidoglio
• Via del teatro Marcello
• Via Petroselli
• Piazza Bocca della verita
• Piazza Anastasia

The tour ends at the point of departure.

I recently did the Rome Segway tour with 4 friends. Our guide had studied archaeology and shared a wealth of information with us on Rome via our headphones. The route was not on main roads and we felt safe at all times. One lady in our group of 8 was 72, had never ridden a Segway before and mastered it quickly. I didn't want the tour to end as I loved riding my Segway. We had so much fun, I shall be looking for Segway tours now when I travel! The hardest part was finding the office. (Go down Via Nazionale as per instructions, walk down the stairs and it's in a lane on the right.)Can't think of any age group that wouldn't love this tour!

We had a simply wonderful time, first time on a Segway our guide made it all just soooooooo easy. She is to be complimented on the overall experience that I am sure would not have been as great without her humor and patience. I am still saying to family and friends "pay attention" which she used to direct us to watch out for hazards. I think when I get home to New Zealand I might just purchase a Segway.

Present the voucher at the tour start point or attraction entrance

Please note

Please call the local activity operator at least 24 hours prior to the start of the tour to confirm the departure details.
We kindly ask all our guests to be at least 05 minutes before the touring hour. We will wait for latecomers a maximum 10 minutes before the pre-established departure time, then the orientation session will start so that all the customers can Enjoy the complete time paid.
Before the tour starts you must provide us an Identification with the confirmation voucher
The Segway Tour lasts 3 hours, including 30 minutes of orientation session.
There are no public restrooms in our office and on the tour route.
The use of the Segway is NOT recommended for pregnant women.
The meeting point is at the Segway Office located in Via di Sant’Eufemia #15, Rome, it is very close to the Piazza Venezia.
To find our office take as a reference the Vittoriano (big white monument located in piazza Venezia). Facing it, cross Via dei Fori Imperiali and walk in direction of the white column with spirals around and a statue on the top. Keep walking leaving the column on your right and the churches on your left. As soon as you overcome the second church, turn left into Via di Sant’Eufemia.

Additional Info

The Segway is appropriate for virtually anyone 16 and older. Riders must have the ability to make motions such as climbing and descending stairs without assistance. The Segway is not appropriate for those weighing under 100 pounds (45 kilos) or over 250 pounds (113 kilos). The confirmation voucher includes the local activity operator’s contact details and local telephone numbers at the destination. They will happily answer any logistical questions you may have.
